Family Center Staff
Director
Madeleine
Lane, SSND, MA, LMFT, is the founder of The Family
Center with thirty-five years of educational, pastoral, and clinical experience,
including spiritual direction. Sister Madeleine offers individual, couple, and
family counseling, and specializes in grief ministry. She also serves as a guest
speaker, facilitator, and workshop presenter/retreat director throughout the United
States. She is an adjunct university professor.
Therapists
Heather
Burns, MA, LPC, received her Masters in Counseling
in 2000 from St. Louis University. She has interned at Youth in Need, as well
as, Youth Emergency Service. She is a licensed professional counselor in the state
of Missouri.
Sarah Mills,
MA, LPC, graduated with her Masters in Counseling
from St. Louis University in 2000. She has worked in community mental health centers
and interned at Barnes-Jewish psychiatric ICU for one year. She completed her
educational requirements beyond her Masters to satisfy her School counselor
Certification. She is also a Missouri licensed professional counselor.
Spiritual
Directors
Charlotte
Flarlong, SSND, MAPS has a Master's degree in Pastoral Studies and certification
in Spiritual Direction. In addition to offering spiritual direction at The Family
Center, she directs retreats and conducts workshops on spirituality.
Clarence
Heller, MAPS holds
Master's degrees in Business Administration and Pastoral Studies, as well as certification
in Spiritual Direction. Mr. Heller offers individual spiritual direction and is
coordinator of the "Week of Guided Prayer A Retreat in Everyday Life"
Program.
